Linda Markus Daniels concentrates her practice in the representation of entrepreneurial, technology-based and international businesses. In this practice she is called upon to work on such matters as incorporations, mergers and acquisitions, securities transactions, the licensing, distribution and protection of intellectual property, tax problems and various international issues.

Ms. Daniels received her undergraduate degree magna cum laude with honors from Duke University and then received a M.A. with distinction in International Economics from The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. After working as an international and regulatory economic analyst for three years, she returned to Duke University School of Law where she earned a J.D. with honors and served as an Editor of the Duke Law Journal.

She has served as an officer and director of the North Carolina Technology Association and as a Director of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED).  She served as Chairman of the CED's 2008 and 2006 Venture Conferences, the 2004 and 2002 Infotech Conferences, and the 2000 and 1994 Conferences on Entrepreneurship. She is also a member of the Section Council for the International Section of the North Carolina Bar Association and a founding member of the first North Carolina Chapter of the national Women President's Organization.  Ms. Daniels has also served as a director of the Association of the American Dance Festival, Chairman of the Research Triangle International Law Roundtable, and a member of the North Carolina Computer Law Roundtable.

Ms. Daniels has received the North Carolina Technology Association Top IT Support Service Provider Award, Triangle Business Journal’s top “Women in Business” and "Financial Impact Leader" Awards, and Business Leader’s “Woman Extraordinaire” award.  She is Martindale AV rated.
